How to Calculate Negative Marking in Kerala PSC?

You can calculate your total score after the negative marking by following the steps below.

• Maximum marks in the Exam. Eg 100.
• Total Question attempt by you. Consider 85 Question Attempt
• The total question you answer wrongly. Consider 15 Questions wrongly answered.
• Now total right questions will be 85-15=70.
• Marks of each question. e.g. 1marks/question.
• Parts of Negative marking is 1/3, For 15 wrong answers 15×1/3= 5 marks will be deducted.
• For 70 right answers, your score will be 70×1=70 and for 15 wrong answers, your negative score will be 5 marks.
• The final score out of a total of 100 will be 70-5=65.
